Diamond Christians

“The Lord looketh down from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men … he fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works” (Ps. 33:1315).
Every diamond does not shine alike; neither does every Christian’s testimony receive the same evaluation by men. The reason some diamonds cannot shine is due to the fact that they were never cut. The brilliancy of their light depends largely upon the character of its facets. These three things are necessary in making Christians shine as diamonds: (1) We must be diamonds, that is, we must be saved ones, precious in His sight through the faith we have reposed in Christ. (2) We must be cut, fashioned after His will, chastened and refined as by fire. (3) We must abide in the light. Our shining is but the reflection of His Light.
